Polished Concrete

If, like us, you think that each surface in your home and yard should be in keeping with a stylish and consistent look, then you will agree that concrete can be a nuisance. Indeed, it does not belong to the family of materials, like marble or even granite, that people usually associate with style or smoothness. But, never fear! At Montgomery Concrete Staining Pro, we tend to have the answers for a lot of things. And Polished concrete is no different. Surprisingly enough, we have found that many people in the Montgomery area have concrete as part of their home. Even if it is a benign piece of walling or patio tiles. To us, it is a comfort to know that these materials do not always have to remain rough and uninspiring. Polished concrete may be the answer to your prayers!

We also provide concrete staining services but some people do not want to mess to much with the colour scheme of their home. If minimalist is what you want, but you don’t want to have to put up with the rough edged materials in your home, like concrete! Then, Montgomery Concrete Staining Pro’s team may be what you are looking for!

We’ve been working on projects for long enough now to know that no concrete surface is too rough and no bulky piece of concrete is too stubborn to tame. Trust us, the results that we can achieve with just a few hours or a couple of days (dependent upon the size of the project) with a desired object or surface is enough to make our customers say ‘wow’! So, if you want to talk about a possible project or you just want to get in touch and find out more details about the services we provide, then don’t hesitate to give us a call (the details can be found on this website).

What We Can Do

By using top of the line polishing materials we can produce a finish that is stylish, sturdy and consistent with a new level of functionality and strength. Whether you are going for the reflective or the matt look, we have what it takes to get the job done.

The reason why it is always a good idea to bring a professional in for this kind of work is that it requires quite heavy duty equipment to achieve the desired results. Depending on the size of the project, it may be necessary to bring in a diamond grit, resin pad or indeed a metal segment machine. These tools are required to beat the rough surface into submission and get it ready for polishing.

The process goes like this. Stage one is inspection and planning; stage two is to get the rough surface smoothened by using tools like the ones described above. Then, we often use a densifier or a sealer to protect the concrete and to keep it compact, leaving a dirt-resistant finish. Afterwards, we can use a combination of wet and dry polishing to achieve the shine that you asked for. After clearing up, we’ll be out of your hair in no time, leaving you to enjoy your brand new surface!
